REFUND POLICY

Cancellation of Admission and Refund Policy

The refund rules as per University Grants Commission (UGC) vide letter No.: D.O.1-3/2007(CPP-II) dated 6th December 2016 will apply for all programmes offered by SRM University (Except Medical / Dental Programmes)

If all the documents submitted for refund are in order, then the time taken to process and affect the transfer of refund money will be 90 working days

 *In case of (1) The University shall deduct 10% of the aggregate fees as processing charges from the refundable amount other than Registration and Application fee.

  • There is no refund if the student withdraws after the induction/orientation programme, or has attended any classes.
  • All refunds will be processed by the Accounts Section of the University upon receiving the approval from the Registrar based on the recommendation of the Director, International Admissions.
  • Requests for withdrawals should be made in the prescribed application available here.
  • Refund will be made only after the candidate has surrendered the ID card, original fee receipt, and the due clearance certificate.
  • The refund will be made in accordance with RBI/foreign exchange regulations.
  • Application and Entrance Test fees, wherever applicable, once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstance.
  • It is solely the responsibility of the candidate to submit all required documents to process the refund on time.
