      As a part of its Silver Jubilee Celebrations, SRM College of Physiotherapy is organizing a two day Conference on “Physiotherapy - Updates & Advancements” on 21st & 22nd April 2017. Renowned speakers in the discipline of Physiotherapy will address the Conference on the latest trends and futuristic perspectives. Delegates from the region will also have the opportunity to interact with specialists in formal and informal sessions. 

      SRM College of Physiotherapy was started in 1993 by the Founder Chancellor, Dr. Paarivendhar. Post graduate studies in the College of Physiotherapy were started under the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in 1999.  And it is the only College permitted to start all electives of post graduate courses under the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. 

      Moving to the Kattankulathur campus from Ramapuram in 2007, SRM College of Physiotherapy has the distinction of being the first Physiotherapy College in India to signed MoUs with International Universities - Keele University, UK and La Trobe University, Australia. SRM College of Physiotherapy has also signed a MoU with National Institute of Empowerment for Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) for Clinical postings and Research activities.

      Apart from the routine syllabus, all graduating students, before leaving the Institution, are certified and trained in BLS and ACLS which are American Heart Association Accredited programs.
