Research Summary 

My research work mainly focused on the effect of ion implantation, irradiation and annealing process of II-VI compound semiconductor (ZnO, CdS, ZnSe, CdSe) thin films for optoelectronic applications. Initially synthesis of nanomaterials as thin films using cast effective methods like SILAR and CBD. Further, the grown thin films were ion beam irradiated with low and high energy ion beams (Ag, Au, and N) on CDs and ZnSe thin films and its modification of properties were analyzed using RBS, GAXRD, PL, Raman and Hall measurement. Further research work focused on the ion beam implantation utilized to produce a junction diode   and synthesis of I-III-VI2 compound semiconductor for solar cell application
