Prizes/Awards

  • Awarded second prize for the paper entitled 'Design and performance   of a fast acting extremely leak tight ON/OFF valve' at the 5th All India Fluid Power Conference held at Bangalore during September 1987. (One of the co authors).
  • T. Nagarajan and R. Venkata Ramana, Mechanical Engineering Department, has been awarded the Certificate of Merit for 1995-96 by the Institution of Engineers (India) for the paper entitled ‘Dynamic Modelling for a Manipulator Interacting with the Environment’, published in the Journal of the Institution.
  • At Malaysia: Won 2 Gold Medals and 1 silver Medal in ITEX international exhibitions held in Malaysia.
