The orientation programme on SRM community radio station held on November 4, 20011 to create awareness about Community Radio among the students of visual Communication and Mass communication and Journalism.

Ms.DivyaSri (Station Manager) delivered welcome address and introduced the Community Radio Station

Mr.Saivinoth, a student of M.Sc. Visual Communication, presented the Orientation Programme described the students about Community, Community Radio Station, SRM CR, types of programme, programme formats, benefits to the students, students involvement and current Activities.

The programme held in two sessions. After the Presentation session students doubts were clarified by the Station Manager and around 30 students enrolled their names to participate in SRM Community Radio in various areas like RJ, Production and as student representatives. Ms. DivyaSri (Station Manager) delivered the felicitation address.
