Program Outline

The programme is structured as a 3+ 1 model and the total minimum duration of the engineering programme is 4 years. Students can register in the following four-year B. Tech programmes under the Indo-German undergraduate programmes of engineering:

* Mechanical Engineering
* Computer Science and Engineering

In the above programmes, three years of study will be at SRM and the fourth year of the study will be at any of the under mentioned German universities:

* University of Applied Sciences, Bochum
* University of Applied Sciences, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg
* University of Applied Sciences, Gelsenkirchen

In the final two semesters, students will earn 60 ECTS credits in one of the above mentioned German Universities. The final semester will be devoted to an internship in German industries and to the final thesis.
All the students registering for the above programme are expected to undergo German language training for at least 800 units distributed over the first five semesters at SRM with support from Max-Muller Bhavan.
