PROFESSIONAL ENRICHMENT AND EXTENSION ACTIVITIES

  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS FOR NIGERIAN STUDENTS – MAY 2014

CDC conducted Professional Skills course for the students from Nigeria in the month of May 2014. The course covered project management, communication skills, cross-cultural management, etiquettes, change management and time management

  • CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAMME FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS (APRIL, EVERY YEAR)

CDC extended support to Ullas Trust (an NGO) to conduct a Career Guidance Programme for Secondary school and high school students which created an awareness about the career options available.​Students were motivated to choose a career related to their passion. All their doubts and hesitations pertaining to their career options were discussed.

  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR JAPANESE DELEGATES (EVERY YEAR)

CDC conducts Communication Skills course for Japanese delegates every year. It’s an 8-week course which also includes a cultural interaction session among Indian students and Japanese people. ​

  • SOFT SKILLS TRAINING FOR STUDENTS OF SIKKIM CAMPUS

CDC conducted soft skill training sessions for the Sikkim campus students who visited KTR campus in the month of January 2018.  They were encouraged to do group discussions and presentations to enhance their interpersonal skills, teamwork and presentation skills. Important topics like Self-analysis and Attitude reengineering were discussed to make the students to reinvent their potential.​

  • EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS TRAINING – 6TH MARCH TO 10TH MARCH 2018

Career Development Centre arranged employability skills training for Final year students of Sikkim campus in the month of March 2018. Profile building, resume writing, presentation skills and group dissussion sessions were conducted. Inputs on personal interview was given and mock interviews were conducted.
