The Career guidance cell, first of its kind was started in the year 2007 to enhance the students employability skills and placement prospects, which is also the most important objective of the institution.
The brain child of our Vice-Chancellor, the Career Guidance department was started with the aim of developing the personality, improving communication, training the students in quantitative and verbal aptitude and getting all placed.
The department trains students from first year onwards This is also a part of the curriculum just like the other subjects
The first year syllabus is based on soft skills with activities .This helps them to develop self confidence, motivate students, improve communication and presentation skills.
During the second and third year the concentration is on aptitude both quantitative and verbal. Mock interview and group discussions are also conducted.
In the final year the students are given extra training in summer and before they go in for placements.
The MCA and MBA students are also given placement training though it is not part of the curriculum.
