Two-Way Communication – A Chance To Learn

“Two-way communication is the best technique to learn,” said Mr. S. Karaiadiselvan, Managing Director, CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd. at the inaugural function of the new batch of MBA at School of Management, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram campus. He said that it is with listening, taking notes, interacting along with discussion will ensure learning. He emphasized the students in reading up the case studies and coming up to a solution which will be the true essence to a management student in facing the present world. He also appreciated the Institute for having updated the syllabus and curriculum that will purely fetch a great opportunity to the students in knowing the changing trends. He said that the two years of struggle and hard work will be a strong foundation for the next forty years or more. He also gave tips to the students in analyzing their long term and short term goals and framing a mind-mapping that would help them in setting up their target, where they want to be in the near future. Mr. S. Karaiadiselavn also enumerated the 3E’s in life that are the important aspects for a successful life. They are – Employable Workforce, Employment, and Entrepreneurship. 

Dr. C. Sundar, Head of the Department and Vice Principal, during his speech, pointed out the placements season for the current outgoing batch already started and it is above 80% over the last five years. He also said that for keeping the young minds active and innovative, a bridge course will be arranged to develop the students in all possible ways. 

Dr. P. Sekar (Dean-S&H) and Dr. V. Subbaiah Bharathi (Dean-E&T), gave their felicitations. Dr. T.S. Sridhar, Director General, stressed upon the productivity, creativity and the utilization of ideas and resources.  Mr. Ashuthosh Mohan, Deputy Manager at IndusInd Bank and alumnus of the School, said that that one should never be shy or hesitant.  Mr. K Prakash, a Faculty member, extended the vote of thanks.
