I am Dr. G. Devanand Venkatasubbu. I hold a B. Tech degree in Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University, M.Tech degree in Industrial Biotechnology from Annamalai University and Ph.D in Technology from Anna University. After completing my Ph.D, i continued my teaching and research in University of Madras and in Anna University. My lab works in the field of Nanomedicine.

My Nanomedicine lab works on the application of nanoscience in the field of medicine. We use various biomaterials for different biomedical applications like drug delivery system, drug targeting and wound healing. We work on the interaction of nanomaterials with biological systems at cellular level. We also work on the toxicity of nanomaterials in vitro and in vivo.
