Dr. Debaldev Jana


Research Assistant Profesor


Dr. Debaldev Jana is working as a Research Assistant Professor in SRM Research Institute and associated with the Department of Mathematics at SRM University, since August 7, 2016. He mainly focuses on Nonlinear Dynamics and its application in Biological Systems, more prominently Mathematical Ecology, Continuous and Discrete systems, Fuzzy Dynamical Systems, Spatio-temporal dynamics, Bifurcation, Chaos, Numerical Simulation etc. Dr. Jana had done B.Sc, M.Sc and PhD from Jadavpur University in 2006, 2008 and 20012 respectively, PDF from VisvaBharati and Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology respectively.

Recipient of two Postdoctoral Fellowships:

  • N.B.H.M (National Board of Higher Mathematics, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India), 2013.
  • D.S.Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship by U.G.C (University Grand Commission, Government of India), 2013.
