Dr. Sreejith Karthikeyan

Dr. Sreejith Karthikeyan joined at SRM University, Kattankulathur in June 2016 as Research Assistant Professor in Department of Physics and Nanotechnology. He has received Overseas Research Student Award Scheme (ORSAS) Fellowship from Higher Education Funding Council for England for his Postgraduate Research (PhD) at The University of Salford. He completed his PhDin the year 2011. After obtaining a PhD degree in 2011, he started his research career as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Minnesota. There he worked on monolithically integrated multi-junction solar cells. He then joined at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman in 2015 as a visiting faculty for one year.His research interests are in the development of thin films for energy harvesting and gas sensor device applications.  He is interested in low temperature deposition methods for flexible solar cells and other applications.
